Management
Susan
Cecil offers more than twenty years of experience in international
artist management, alongside an equally successful career in Film,
Television, Event and Theatre production.
Susan
has managed a variety of musical artists in genres as diverse as Opera
and Oratorio, World Music, Rock, Pop and Soul. Her artists include the
multi-award winning chart-topper Vicky Sampson, opera Diva Sally-June
Gain, traditional Xhosa singer / songwriter Ringo Madlingozi, and a
collection of Top 10 and award winning artists and bands. Susan’s
management abilities coupled with her intrinsic understanding of
production has led to the formation of Hunky Dory Actors Management.
Susan’s production career began in Film and Television in the mid
80’s, later moving into music video and commercials. Production roles
in Theatre soon followed, leading to corporate video and live event
production, where she became
Managing Director of Harlequin Productions and Javelin International
Events, responsible for strategies and productions for
corporations such as Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Daewoo Motors and 3M.
Susan has a nurturing, hands-on management approach and a keen
eye for both talent and opportunity, attributes essential to the
successful operation of Hunky Dory Actors Management. |
